Minirocs series model rockets use 13 mm rocket motors.  Compatible with today's mini "T" size motors.  Many of these rocket kits were designed by G. Harry Stine for competition.  Although we do not have the entire line of these awesome rocket kits, some can be reproduced using the Minirocs Parts Assortment.  MPC pioneered the mini size motor with their own Minijet motors.  See the MPC History page for more details about these long out-of-production Minirocs.

Minirocs Parts Assortment     $9.95

Kit #3-0950

Contents include four each of the following: T-15/8 body tube, T-15 balsa nose cone, T-14 engine mount, T-14 thrust ring, shock mount, screw eye, shock cord, launch lug and two nose weights.  Side of blister pack has bonus parts that can be cut out to add scale realism to your project.  Condition: New in factory sealed blister pack.  Blister pack backing has curled on some of these kits due to method of storage over the years, contents in good condition.

Minirocs Delta-Katt     $19.95

Kit #3-0930

Skill level: 3

A new concept in B/G, designed especially for the minijet engine by G. Harry Stine, with a 60-degree balsa delta main wing aft.  Four rudders improve stability, the front balsa stab is canted at 5-degrees to provide glide stability, but during boost the power pod is aligned with the wing.  The canted stab is located right on the boost CG and therefore has little effect during boost.  It's a contest flier in the Hornet, Sparrow, and Swift contest categories.  Glide weight is 5 grams with 17.65 square inches of delta wing surface area. Condition: New and factory sealed in blister-pack, backing curled on most and may have some imperfections (i.e. tears in cardboard backing, etc.), contents in good condition and ready for you to build!  Better launch this where you have some space, because it glides amazingly well!

Minirocs Asp-1     $9.95

Kit #3-0922

Skill level: 1-2

A super-detailed, super-performing scale model of the famous sounding rocket used to probe the mushroom clouds of thermonuclear explosions of Operation Redwing.  To a scale of 1/11 with balsa fins and nose cone, 13-inches long, 0.591-inches in diameter, 17 grams without engine, parachute recovery.  Condition: New and factory sealed in blister-pack, backing curled on some, but most are in very good condition.  Instructions include steps for super-detailing this model, which I highly recommend because it looks awesome!  One of my favorite scale models, flights out of sight.

Minirocs Taurus-1     $9.95

Kit #3-0920

Skill level: 1

The MPC Taurus-1 can be built either as a sport and demonstration bird or as a ferocious contest flier capable of tangling with any larger vehicle on the field...and winning, with 5-caliber balsa ogive nose cone, 4 trapezoidal balsa fins and a pair of optional T-5 boosters on the side.  Length is 9-inches, diameter is 0.591-inches and it is all of 11 grams without engine, parachute recovery.  Condition: New and factory sealed in blister-pack, backing curled on some, but most are in very good condition.  Considering the choices available today for mini-rockets, this is superior in quality and design, a nice display model.
